For five months (January, February, April, May, and June of 2020), The Black Punning Poet will publish themed creative writing and art collections featuring poetry, art, short fiction, and personal narratives by young writers. The works selected analyze themes such as the cultural significance of voting, intersections of femininity and race, and homeland. If you would like to submit but do not have a non-personal email account or social media, you may email your work to
seekingjoyandjustice@gmail.com. Be sure to review the submission guidelines, which can be found in the submission portal.
